T-MOOC for Initial Teacher Training in Digital Competences: Technology and Educational Innovation

Massive open online courses (MOOCs) are perceived as emerging technologies for training and innovation in the educational context. They have become approaches distance education face of new challenges, changes, crises experienced by COVID-19 pandemic. represent, turn, opportunities a response to United Nations recommendations development sustainable goals. The presence tasks means that acquisition Digital Competences (DC) teachers students goes beyond mere mastery content teaching methodologies. research presented aims analyze possibilities T-MOOCs DC teachers, resources favor autonomous collaborative learning innovative scenarios. study sample is made up 313 Primary Education Degree at University Seville (Spain). For this purpose, two questionnaires (Google Forms) were applied beginning course: Teaching Competence Questionnaire (DigCompEdu), Content Questionnaire: Resources Pedagogy. results obtained show students’ level both digital competences subject low medium, so technology required key competences. Based on data obtained, following actions proposed: (a) concretion contents structured guide e-activities be developed student body, taking into account guidelines with regard Development Sustainable Objectives; (b) creation environment under T-MOOC architecture, based due current health situation COVID-19, which, one hand, empowers use tools, other facilitates SDGs; (c) evaluation designed resource autonomous, collaborative, guided contexts which play an important role development.
